Completed in November, the two 18-floor structures, which cover a total gross floor area of 26,000 square meters, proudly stand alongside others built using conventional construction. The new buildings were produced by Shanghai Baoye Group Corp Ltd, a wholly-owned unit of Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd (MCC Group).

這兩棟18層樓高的建筑于11月完工，總建筑面積為2.6萬(wàn)平方米，和傳統(tǒng)方式修建的建筑排成一排。這兩棟建筑是由中冶集團(tuán)上海寶冶集團(tuán)有限公司承建的。

'There is no difference between the buildings and the traditional ones in terms of appearance and functions, but the prefabricated ones are more efficient, environmental friendly and cost saving,' said Ye Hua, chief engineer of Shanghai Baoye Group Architectural Engineering Company.

“這兩棟建筑和傳統(tǒng)建筑在外觀和功能上并沒(méi)有差異，但是預(yù)制建筑更加高效、環(huán)保和節(jié)省成本，”上海寶冶集團(tuán)建筑工程公司總工程師葉華說(shuō)。

According to Ye, as much as 25 percent of the two buildings’ construction are prefabricated.

據(jù)葉華介紹，這兩棟建筑有超過(guò)25%的構(gòu)造是預(yù)制的。

Assembly type structure, or fabricated building, is constructed using prefabrication, which consists of factory-made components or units that are transported and assembled on-site to form a complete building. Using more machines instead of manpower, the fabricated building is believed to save cost and energy, while with enhanced building quality.

裝配式建筑，也就是預(yù)制建筑是使用預(yù)制技術(shù)施工的，由工廠里制造的部件或單元組成，運(yùn)輸至現(xiàn)場(chǎng)組裝完成完整的建筑。因?yàn)楦嗟厥褂脵C(jī)械而非人力，預(yù)制建筑因此可以節(jié)省成本和能源，同時(shí)提升建筑質(zhì)量。

A second project in a size of 190,000 sqm is currently under designing, and construction work will kick off next year, said Ye, adding that more than 40 percent of the new project will be built prefabricated.

葉華說(shuō)，下一個(gè)面積為19萬(wàn)平方米的項(xiàng)目目前正在設(shè)計(jì)之中，施工將于明年開(kāi)始，他還補(bǔ)充說(shuō)這個(gè)新項(xiàng)目超過(guò)40%將采用預(yù)制技術(shù)。

The construction of the assembled type structure is in line with the central government's strategy. According to the General Office of the State Council’s guideline issued in late September, mega city clusters such as Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta region, and the Pearl River Delta region are required to promote the construction of prefabricated buildings.

裝配式建筑的建設(shè)符合中央政府的政策。根據(jù)去年11月國(guó)務(wù)院辦公廳發(fā)布的《關(guān)于大力發(fā)展裝配式建筑的指導(dǎo)意見(jiàn)》，特大型城市群如京津冀、長(zhǎng)三角、珠三角地區(qū)要推進(jìn)裝配式建筑的建設(shè)。

The guideline also set a goal of having 30 percent of the newly built buildings prefabricated in the coming decade.

該指導(dǎo)意見(jiàn)制定了在未來(lái)十年內(nèi)，新建建筑的30%要采用預(yù)制技術(shù)的目標(biāo)。
