?This home in Sydney,Australia, has been designed for a young family that wanted a home that wouldbe robust and persevere the wear of every day life.

?項目中，有許多呈三角形的設(shè)計，是業(yè)主，從Clayton Orszaczky設(shè)計團(tuán)隊和建設(shè)者，羅伯特·普拉姆項目之間的合作。

?The design of the home,which is located on a triangular shaped lot, was a collaboration between thehome owner, the design team from Clayton Orszaczky, and the builder, RobertPlumb Project.

?使用再生磚、黃銅和木材，實木粗糙的觸覺，讓人想起來日本傳統(tǒng)的保護(hù)木材方式-shou sugi ban，是的家中呈現(xiàn)出溫馨和現(xiàn)代的感覺。

?Using a palette of recycledbrick, brass, internal timber lining boards, solid timber, and rough sawntactile cladding reminiscent of shou sugi ban, the home has a contemporary andwarm feeling to it.

?客戶方的構(gòu)想源于格陵蘭島原木屋頂結(jié)構(gòu)和日本傳統(tǒng)原木建筑的影響，這是barn建筑標(biāo)志性的形式。

?The clients ideasoriginated from photos of the simple timber hipped roof structures seen in thelandscape of Greenland and evolved to absorb influences from traditionalJapanese timber architecture and the iconic forms of barn architecture.

?Inside the home, theinteriors have been designed by Romaine Alwill of Alwill Interiors. The livingarea, dining and kitchen all share the same space that’s open to the backyard.A built in fireplace and television make for a cozy living room, and when itgets too sunny, curtains can be drawn to provide shade.

?As with many Australianhomes, indoor/outdoor living is often included in the design, and in this homethey have achieved this by having a sliding doors next to the dining table thatopen directly to the landscaped backyard, designed by William Dangar andAssociates. There’s also a BBQ area for cooking outside.

?In the kitchen, the islandhas exposed storage and an overhang makes it possible for people to sit atwhile helping with food prep.

?Upstairs, there’s a loungearea where you can see the barn influence, with exposed beams, a pitched roofand skylights.

?Simple blinds shade thebedroom from the sun and provide privacy when needed.

?在浴室里，天窗提供了充足的自然光線的空間。黃銅材質(zhì)的五金和黑色的浴缸在白色墻面的襯托下格外耀眼。

?In the bathroom, whitewalls and ceilings make the brass accents and black cabinetry stand out. Askylight provides plenty of natural light to the space.
