  • 人在說(shuō)謊時(shí),會(huì)不由自主一直摩挲雙手,或者摸脖子,因?yàn)檫@是一種自我安慰的姿態(tài),當(dāng)人不相信自己在說(shuō)什么的時(shí)候,為使自己安心,就會(huì)做出這些動(dòng)作。

    People tend to rub their hands or touch their necks involuntarily when they tell lies, because these are ways to console themselves. When they don’t believe in what they’re saying, these movements can reassure them.

    If you think someone is watching you, look at your watch or where your watch would be. If they are watching you they will usually  look at their wrist/watch.

  • 學(xué)習(xí)和記憶一件事最好的方法是將它再解釋給別人。因?yàn)楫?dāng)你解釋的時(shí)候,你會(huì)盡量提煉核心意思,這樣會(huì)讓你更加鞏固。

    The best way to remember something is by trying to explain it to someone else, we tend to simplify things when explaining them to others, therefore this might help you to concentrate on the most important bits of information that you wish to remember.

People will secrete a kind of 'hunger hormone' when they are hungry, and this hormone will significantly increase their shopping desire. In this case, food and other goods will become more attractive.

  • 有一個(gè)很有意思的實(shí)驗(yàn),當(dāng)你和某個(gè)人聊天時(shí),隨意認(rèn)準(zhǔn)他話中的一個(gè)詞,每當(dāng)他說(shuō)到這個(gè)詞時(shí)你就點(diǎn)頭,或者給予一些積極回應(yīng)。你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)他開(kāi)始經(jīng)常說(shuō)這個(gè)詞。

    This is a fun little experiment to try. When you are having a conversation with someone, pick out one word that they say. Each time when the person says that word (or something close to it) just nod or give some other type to positive affirmation. Now your conversation partner will start saying the word all the time.

    If someone won't stop talking or let you get a word in, drop something (keys, pen). Reach down to pick them up and start talking. it's a way to interrupt without the other person realizing it.

  • 如果你缺乏做一件事情的動(dòng)力,比如說(shuō)學(xué)習(xí)一個(gè)技能,一個(gè)樂(lè)器或者是一門(mén)語(yǔ)言,你只要告訴自己:行,我就坐下學(xué)5分鐘。很多時(shí)候,你到最后會(huì)堅(jiān)持不止5分鐘。即使你只練了5分鐘,那也比不試好。

    If you have trouble motivating yourself to do something, like to learn a skill (instrument, language etc.), tell yourself 'Ok, I'll sit down and do this for just five minutes'. A lot of the time you'll end up going for much longer than five minutes, but even if you don't, it's still five minutes of practice in whatever you wanted to learn in the first place.
