How habits form and lead to character and destiny Thought leads to actions Actions lead to habits Habits become your character Character determines destiny (your eternal life) Sensory data; gets into our soul and spirit; by force or by choice à thought Thought à words and action Word and actions à habits Habits à character Character à destiny Destiny à eternal results This | Produces | This | Questions being considered | Various things happen to us like combinations of sensory data such as light, sound, smell, touch, taste, words, visuals, noises, various sensations … | And these produce responses within us that we call | Thought(s) | What are you allowing into your senses? Are there things happening outside our senses? Are there “bad” sensations? What are some things not good for our children? Why? Consider the numerous ways the world system tries to get (often wrong information) into our senses: e.g. mail, magazines, newspapers, TV, radio, music, speeches, theater, Internet, signs, books, telephone, schools, courts, monuments, government …, | Thought(s) become words and | Produce or lead to | Action(s) or purposes which are expressed in words… | Whatever we put into our minds, in whatever way, will influence our actions. Actions of the soul; the soul being our mind, will, and emotion. And most importantly, another undeniable part of us; our spirit. Some avoid thinking about the spirit. Some focus on intellect. The most influential Book of all “time” has been the Bible. Yet many of today’s students, teachers, “scholars” and other people who claim to be well-educated have not read this best seller of all time. Why is this so? How can any one intelligently discuss a book they have never read? How can anyone not read this Book of books known as the Christian Bible and still consider them selves “intelligent” or well educated? Why would any one avoid reading such a book? Why is the Christian Bible one, if not the only, book that is prohibited in our schools and colleges? Are there other books that are taboo or not allowed? | Action(s) | produce | Habit(s) | When we repeat actions … | Habit(s) | produce | Character | Our repeated behavior becomes virtually automatic … our inclinations or predisposed way of responding to situations … | Character | produces | Destiny | Our character leads us to one destiny or another … | Destiny | produces | Eternal results | Is there a heaven? Hell? Eternity? Death will happen to 1 out of 1 people. Death is 100% likely for you and for me. Where do you want to spend eternity? How long is eternity compared to a “l(fā)ifetime”? What would you trade for heaven eternally? Riches, fame, sex, perversions, power? Why would God create us to long for something special that we cannot fulfill in this life, this lifetime, and while in this temporal world? Is it that we were created not for this temporal world but for a better place? Heaven? Our Christian Bible tells us about all these questions and the book of Revelation especially relates how a new heaven and a new earth is created … for us to be eternally with God… Why not start at the end of the book? |
