This is an alternative Vipassana retreat with no connection to the Goenka retreats. It is a safe and silent place to relax, meditate and enjoy being in nature away from the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day lives. You can experience a whole weekend in silence; without eye contact, talking, mobile phones or internet.
As well as silent sitting, the weekend retreat includes:
* Refreshing bush walks
* Osho talking about the Vipassana Meditation technique
* Kundalini Meditation
* Campfire under the stars
* 6 delicious vegetarian meals

Bring your own bedding, towel, torch, shawls, blanket, umbrella, walking shoes, cushion and an alarm clock. Accommodation is in simple, clean, bush style cabins located in natural setting or bring your own tent or van. The Bush Sanctuary is alcohol, cigarette and drug free. |
Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. It was rediscovered by Gautama Buddha more than 2500 years ago and was taught by him as a universal Art of Meditation. Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind, emotions, memories, breathing and body. Through the direct experience of natural flow, life becomes characterised by increased awareness and peace. |
