地道表達(dá)：Promise me now and never let go of that promise.答應(yīng)我，而且永遠(yuǎn)不要食言。promise承諾，let go of放棄。不要放棄自己的承諾，就是做出的承諾不要食言的意思。

“食言”非常形象的另外一個(gè)說法就是“eat one's words”這里的words是多數(shù)。說了話，或做了保證不能實(shí)現(xiàn)。也就是一個(gè)人說了話不算數(shù)。
