1. I didn't go to bed early last night. It was almost eleven o'clock when I went to sleep. But I slept quite soundly throughout the night. Especially, if I remembered correctly, I only woke up once in the middle of the night and then slept until six o'clock. I guess the reason why the quality of my sleep was relatively good might be that I soaked my feet before going to bed last night.
2. Although I woke up when the alarm clock rang at six o'clock, I always felt it was too cold outside the quilt. So I lingered for quite a while and listened to the audiobook for a long time. I didn't get up until after half past six. After getting up, I naturally did a set of Ba Duan Jin first to warm up my body by making it move.
3. Then I prepared some feed for the chickens and ducks. However, Dad got up rather early this morning. When I went out, Dad had already scattered some feed for them. But these guys didn't seem to have had enough to eat, so I scattered some more feed for them. After finishing these tasks, I naturally took the two puppies out for a walk.
4. When I came back, Dad had already brought back a small Chinese cabbage. Then he fried this cabbage and made a soup. The noodles cooked in this way were really delicious. We almost ate up the whole big pot of noodles.
5. There was nothing much to do in the morning. Dad went fishing at the door while I nestled back into the quilt to listen to the audiobook. The pot-cooked rice made at noon was quite a success. The crust on the bottom of the pot was really thick and it wasn't burnt at all. It tasted especially delicious. Paired with the pig blood and tofu soup made by Dad, it was simply wonderful.
6. In the afternoon, Dad steamed the first pot of rice for making wine. Then he mixed the rice with distiller's yeast. Finally, this year's wine-making plan has been launched.
7. After finishing these tasks, I cut two big basins of Chinese cabbage leaves for the chickens and ducks and then mixed them into feed.
