電影《流浪貓鮑勃》講述了一位落魄的街頭藝人被一只流浪貓拯救的故事，這部電影算是寵物類題材中較為出色的作品之一。電影由真實故事改編，電影中的流浪貓由鮑勃（Bob）本貓親自出演。

2020年6月17日，網絡上傳來了電影主角鮑勃（Bob）已于6月15日去世的消息。享年14歲，大概相當于人的98歲，算是壽終正寢了。Bob的主人詹姆斯·鮑恩在它去世后說：“覺得生命中失去了一道光”。
