Futuristic, minimalist, and fantastically rendered, the conceptual houses of Russian architect Alex Nerovnya have captured the imagination of many an architecture buff. He has designed a vacation house to frame the surrounding landscape with profiled facade and gabled roof. Named YORK House, the 200-square-metre small house is situated on the forest edge, the house strives to give its residents a sense of connection with the wild environment. As with other Alex Nerovnya's architecture projects, the studio used simple geometry shaped in an unusual manner, this time utilizing a common gable roof. The central block visually splits the building in two, which makes a common gable roof solution look fresh and different. The architect designed multi-leveled terraces to allow visitors to spend their quality time in outdoors, while massive sliding glass doors blend the interior with the exterior of the building. The key element of the design is a three-storey block of guest accommodations, incorporating 4 separate bedrooms complete with bathrooms. Planned to be located in the desired location on an incline hill comes into play, the panoramic bedroom windows are designed to provide residents with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. 八拈g臥室最多可容納 8 位客人,而房子內(nèi)外的寬敞空間讓每個(gè)人都可以放松身心,在工作日以他們夢(mèng)想的方式度過時(shí)光?!?/p> 'The YORK house project was created as a vacation destination for big families or groups of friends, whose idea of a weekend is to separate yourself from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan areas,' said Alex Nerovnya. 'Four bedrooms accommodate up to 8 guests, while ample space inside and outside of the house allows everyone to relax and spend their time the way they dreamed during the workweek.' Alex adore using architecture to interact with the natural environment. By utilizing glass walls, we are able to visually erase the separation between the indoors and the outdoors. One of the beautiful effects of this approach is that throughout the day, the mood and feeling of the interior changes drastically due to a massive role of natural light penetrating through the glass. Inspired by northern Scandinavian homes, Alex`s other project the geometric YUKON house comprises two interconnected and elevated structures: The larger volume houses the bedrooms and living spaces, while the smaller of the two contains a compact dining area and kitchen. The two-story SOL House features massive glass walls to create a continuous connection with nature and, when viewed from certain angles, makes the building appear invisible to an outside observer. Alex’s main focus is conceptual design, and they understand that the construction documents needed to actually realize they designs require the involvement of local architects and engineers. 1.worldarchitecture.org 2.yankodesign 3.dwell |
