A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing 

A dangerous person who is pretending to be harmless; an enemy who is disguised as a friend. This idiom is a warning that you cannot necessarily trust someone simply because they appear to be kind and friendly.

假裝無害的危險人物;偽裝成朋友的敵人。這個習(xí)語是一個警告，你不能僅僅因為某人看上去很友好就相信他。

從字面上看，綿羊是一種溫順可愛的動物，而狼是一種狡猾、惡毒的動物，喜歡攻擊和吃掉脆弱的動物，如綿羊或羊羔(它們的幼崽)?！癆 Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”這個俗語已經(jīng)使用了幾千年了，最早是伊索寓言寫了《披著羊皮的狼》這個故事。這則寓言講的是一只狼為了騙過牧羊人，披著羊皮，一直待在羊圈里，直到天黑，計劃著最終吃掉其他的羊。
