2018年8月3日,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)發(fā)表了2018年最新的學(xué)術(shù)期刊和會(huì)議影響力排名。其結(jié)果更廣泛、客觀、準(zhǔn)確,這會(huì)不會(huì)進(jìn)一步影響學(xué)術(shù)期刊的評(píng)價(jià)體系?知社學(xué)術(shù)圈做出對(duì)比與分析,后文附谷歌學(xué)術(shù)排名前20的各學(xué)科期刊列表,謹(jǐn)供各位參考。 谷歌學(xué)術(shù)從2004年年底推出,廣受好評(píng),影響力也日益增大。相對(duì)流傳較廣的Web of Science相比,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)有不少優(yōu)點(diǎn)。一方面它可以免費(fèi)檢索,而且涵蓋范圍遠(yuǎn)大于Web of Science。據(jù)估計(jì),截止至2014年5月,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)共收集1億6千萬(wàn)篇學(xué)術(shù)文獻(xiàn),幾乎是Web of Science的三倍。其學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo) (Google Scholar Metric) 在推出后,也開始沖擊影響因子的地位。
Google學(xué)術(shù)計(jì)量中,讀者可以瀏覽100中期刊和會(huì)議等出版物的信息,其排序和分類指標(biāo)是依據(jù)五年h指數(shù)和h中位數(shù)。其中,針對(duì)出版物(期刊)h指數(shù)為:
1. h指數(shù):出版物發(fā)表發(fā)表的 h 篇文章每篇至少都被引用過(guò) h 次的最大值; 2. h核心:出版物最高被引的h篇文章; 3. h5 指數(shù)是指在2007年到2011年整整 5 年中所發(fā)表文章的 h 指數(shù) 4. h5中位數(shù):指出版物的 h5 指數(shù)所涵蓋的所有文章獲得的引用次數(shù)的中位值。
Google僅計(jì)算出版物最近5年內(nèi)發(fā)表文章的上述值,即h5指數(shù)、h5核心和h5中位數(shù)。目前的排名依據(jù)是2007-2011發(fā)表文章(五年整),被引數(shù)據(jù)以2012.9.15為準(zhǔn)。
Google給出了英、漢、萄、德、西、法、韓、日、荷、意10種語(yǔ)言期刊h指數(shù)前100的排名,h中位數(shù)用于相同h指數(shù)期刊的輔助排序。
谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)基于所謂的h5因子 (H-index),即某一出版物在過(guò)去5年發(fā)表的文章之中,至少有h5篇文章每篇引用不低于h5次。例如排名最高的Nature,在2012年至2016年h5因子為366,表明這一期間Nature共有366篇文章引用數(shù)不低于366次。此外,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)還統(tǒng)計(jì)h5中位數(shù),也就是進(jìn)入h5因子的所有文章的引用中位數(shù)。例如Nature的h5中位數(shù) (H-median) 為563次,顯示其進(jìn)入h5因子統(tǒng)計(jì)的366篇文章中,排名第183位的文章引用數(shù)為563次。
和影響因子相比,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)的優(yōu)越性是顯而易見的。首先,與影響因子只基于過(guò)去兩年數(shù)據(jù)不同,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)統(tǒng)計(jì)過(guò)去五年的數(shù)據(jù),因而更加體現(xiàn)一個(gè)出版物的持久影響力,而不僅僅是當(dāng)前的熱度。更為重要的是,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)采用h5因子進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià),顯示的是出版物綜合整體實(shí)力,而不會(huì)像影響因子那樣很容易受一篇高引用文章所扭曲。一個(gè)最好的例子就是近年影響因子排名第一的CA - A Cancer Journal for Clinicians,在谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)中始終在前100名以外。與此相關(guān)的是,谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)能夠更為準(zhǔn)確的體現(xiàn)一個(gè)出版物的實(shí)際影響。簡(jiǎn)而言之,兩個(gè)出版物發(fā)表文章數(shù)量不同,但影響因子接近,顯然發(fā)表數(shù)量多的影響力更廣。這種差別在影響因子上看不出來(lái),而在谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)上則很容易體現(xiàn)。一個(gè)例子就是Nanoscale和Nano Research,兩者都是國(guó)人主導(dǎo)的納米領(lǐng)域雜志,短短幾年都取得非常優(yōu)異的成績(jī),影響因子都達(dá)到了7、8左右。但Nanoscale發(fā)表文章更多,因此進(jìn)入了工程和計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)的前20名。
h因子評(píng)價(jià)體系最初由UCSD物理學(xué)家Jorge Hirsch提出,用于評(píng)價(jià)一個(gè)學(xué)者的影響力。目前通常基于兩個(gè)數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)進(jìn)行統(tǒng)計(jì),一個(gè)是Web of Science,另一個(gè)就是谷歌學(xué)術(shù)。越來(lái)越多的學(xué)者開始采用谷歌學(xué)術(shù)進(jìn)行統(tǒng)計(jì),因其更為廣泛的代表性。這一趨勢(shì)預(yù)計(jì)在谷歌學(xué)術(shù)指標(biāo)和影響因子的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中也會(huì)延續(xù)。
其相關(guān)排名包括綜合排名以及分類排名。分類排名包括:商業(yè)/經(jīng)管、化學(xué)/材料科學(xué)、工程/計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)、健康/醫(yī)學(xué)、人文/藝術(shù)、生命/地球科學(xué)、物理/數(shù)學(xué)、社會(huì)科學(xué)。
