Then, the rooster met two cats. 然后，公雞遇到了兩只貓咪。 ' Come with me to see the world.' said the rooster. 公雞說：“跟我一起去看看世界吧?！?/span>
'We would love to.' said the cats. So they set off down the road. 貓說：“非常樂意。”于是他們就沿著路一起走。 Then the rooster and the cats met three frogs. 沒過多久，公雞和貓遇見了三只青蛙。 “Would you like to see the world?' asked the rooster. 公雞問：“你們想要一起去看世界嗎？”
'Why not ?' said the frogs. 'We are not busy now.' “為什么不呢？”青蛙說，“我們剛好也不忙。”
So the frogs followed the rooster and the cats. 于是，青蛙們就跟著公雞和貓一起出發(fā)啦。
Then the rooster, the cats, and the frogs met four turtles. 然后，公雞、貓還有青蛙遇見了四只烏龜。 'Would you like to see the world?' asked the rooster. 公雞問，“你們想去看看世界嗎？” 'It might be fun,' snapped one of the turtles. 烏龜當(dāng)中的一只說：“這也會(huì)會(huì)很有趣吧?！?/span> So they all set off to see the world. 所以，他們一起上路看世界。 Then the rooster, the cats, the frogs, and the turtles saw five fish. 接著公雞、貓、青蛙和烏龜看到了五條魚。 The fish asked where they were going. 魚問他們這是要去哪里。 'We're off to see the world,' said the rooster. 公雞說：“我們正要去看世界呢！” The fish want to join them. So they all set off to see the world. 魚也很想加入他們，所以，他們就一起出發(fā)看世界。
Soon it got dark. 很快，天就黑了。 'Where's our dinner ?' asked the cats. 貓問：“我們的晚餐在哪里？” 'Where do we sleep?'asked the frogs. 青蛙們問：“我們?cè)谀睦锼X？” 'We're cold,'said the turtles. 烏龜們說：“我們很冷。” Fireflies flew up above. 'We're scared,' said the fish. 螢火蟲在空中飛舞。魚說，“我們好害怕呀！” The rooster did not know what to say. 公雞不知道說什么才好。
The fish want to go home. So they swam away. 魚們很想回家。所以他們就游走了。
The turtles began to think about their warm house. 烏龜們也開始想念他們溫暖的家。
They turned and crawled back down the road. 于是，他們調(diào)轉(zhuǎn)方向，慢慢地爬回去了。
The frogs wanted to go home too.“have good evening!” they said as they jumped away one by one. 青蛙們也想回家了。它們一只一只地跳走了，還一邊說“祝你們晚安！”
The cats went home too.“have good trip!” they said. 貓咪也想回家了。他們說：“祝你旅途愉快！” Then the rooster was all alone. 這下就只剩下公雞一個(gè)人了。 He hadn't seen the world. 他還沒有看到世界呢。 The rooster looked the moon and said，“I miss my home.” 公雞看了看月亮說，“我也想家了?！?/span>
The moon did not answer. It, too, went away. 月亮也沒有回答，他也離開了。
The rooster turned around and went home. 公雞也回頭往家走了。 He ate his grain and happily sat on his own perch. Then he went to sleep. 他吃了些谷粒，愉快地休息了。然后，他就睡著了。 The rooster had a wonderful dream - about a trip around the world! 公雞做了一個(gè)美妙的夢(mèng)——是關(guān)于環(huán)游世界的！
