“What do you ask for a ticket on your train?”

“你們上車時(shí)要什么票呢？”

“Oh! we will give you a ticket, mamma.”

“About what time will you get back?”

“你們大約幾點(diǎn)回來？”

“At half past eight.”

“Ah! that is after bedtime. Is this the fast train?”

“哎呀，那過了睡覺時(shí)間。你們坐的是快車嗎？”

“Yes, this is the lightning train.”

“是啊，我們坐的是快速列車。”

“What shall we get for you in town, mamma?”

“媽媽，我們要給您從鎮(zhèn)上帶些什么呢？”

“A big basket, with two good little children in it.”

“一個(gè)大籃子，還有里面的兩個(gè)聽話的小孩兒?！?br>
