老外初學(xué)漢語(yǔ)，只會(huì)用“個(gè)”來(lái)表示事物的數(shù)量。當(dāng)然，“個(gè)”的用法確實(shí)很廣泛，但是還有大量的情況用“個(gè)”來(lái)描述是不精確的，比如流傳甚廣的育兒歌--“數(shù)數(shù)歌兒”：

一頭牛，兩匹馬；

三條鯉魚(yú)四只鴨；

五本書(shū)，六支筆；

七棵果樹(shù)八朵花；

九架飛機(jī)十輛車。

如果把上述這首打油詩(shī)里的量詞都改成“個(gè)”的話，恐怕就要鬧笑話了（大家不信可以自行腦補(bǔ)一下??）

英語(yǔ)也是同樣道理，初學(xué)者只會(huì)用不定冠詞“a”來(lái)描述一切事物，其實(shí)也是非常不精確的。英語(yǔ)中的情況更加復(fù)雜，不同的事物有特定的量詞表達(dá)。比如：

一群魚(yú)（a school of fish）

一群牛（a herd of cattle）

一群鳥(niǎo)（a flock of birds）

中文中一樣的量詞--“一群”，在英語(yǔ)中，天上飛的、水里游的和地上走的，用的量詞就是不一樣，非常任性。而且“school”竟然也可以是一個(gè)量詞，這是什么鬼？你說(shuō)奇葩不奇葩？??
