首字母填空三步走：

1.通讀短文（對(duì)大意有個(gè)了解，而不是盲目的去做。學(xué)會(huì)跳讀，對(duì)于不理解的地方可以暫時(shí)略過(guò)不去管它。）

2.認(rèn)真分析，填寫(xiě)單詞

（在了解大意的情況下，我們開(kāi)始一邊讀一邊做題。在閱讀過(guò)程中，要注意上、下文的關(guān)系，對(duì)于生詞可以根據(jù)上下文的意思進(jìn)行猜測(cè)。）（留心找出關(guān)鍵詞、短語(yǔ)或句子，還要結(jié)合所給首字母的提示，進(jìn)行填寫(xiě)，并注意單詞的正確形式。）

（1） 依據(jù)習(xí)慣用法與固定搭配進(jìn)行填詞：如【08年 和平】…W           his help, the old man was safe. The boy thanked him very much. 從句意我們就知道是“在他的幫助下”， with his help.

（2） 依據(jù)語(yǔ)法知識(shí)進(jìn)行填詞：如【08年 和平】…It was a l            earlier. 從句中的earlier可以看出它是比較級(jí)，我們應(yīng)該會(huì)想到修飾形容詞比較級(jí)有哪些詞，前面有a,那肯定就是little.

（3） 依據(jù)常識(shí)的積累進(jìn)行填詞：如【08年 和平】…But it was too late. His friend was very angry. Mr. White said nothing but only one word “S          .” Mr. White遲到了，他的朋友很生氣，他什么都沒(méi)說(shuō)，只說(shuō)了一個(gè)字“S          .”我們根據(jù)常識(shí)肯定是向他的朋友道歉，所以肯定填sorry.

（4）依據(jù)邏輯推理與句意理解進(jìn)行填詞：如【08年 和平】One Sunday afternoon, Mr. White drove his new car to his friend’s house happily. He wanted to p          his friend up at five and then went to see a new movie together. 根據(jù)句意，Mr. White高興地開(kāi)著車(chē)去他的朋友家，然后一起去看電影，我們可以進(jìn)行邏輯推理，他肯定是去接他的朋友，所以填pick.

4. 細(xì)心檢查

（檢查填寫(xiě)的單詞形式和意思是否合理，即是否與文章要求相符，有無(wú)句型結(jié)構(gòu)及語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤比如主語(yǔ)為第三人稱(chēng)單數(shù)時(shí)動(dòng)詞加s，動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)。）

Note：做好首字母填空要注意以下幾點(diǎn)

1. 單詞量。

很多學(xué)生做不好首字母填空很重要的一點(diǎn)原因是學(xué)過(guò)的單詞沒(méi)掌握。 每當(dāng)看到一個(gè)首字母，腦子中應(yīng)該迅速閃過(guò)好幾個(gè)詞，然后根據(jù)句意選擇最合適的一個(gè)?；蛘叻催^(guò)來(lái)，用意義對(duì)單詞，先看句子是什么意思，然后根據(jù)意思填出合適的單詞。

2.平時(shí)注意積累詞組、習(xí)慣用法和固定搭配。

（如果老師沒(méi)帶這你們整理的話(huà)， 我建議一人備個(gè)本子，自己整理，除了課本上的，平時(shí)你們考的卷子上易錯(cuò)的都整理到本子上， 平時(shí)常拿出來(lái)翻翻鞏固一下，下次在遇到類(lèi)似的就會(huì)很快想到）（這個(gè)最后我也會(huì)幫你們整理一份這學(xué)期的重點(diǎn)詞組，因?yàn)槲覀儧](méi)法生活在全英的環(huán)境中，所以學(xué)英語(yǔ)還是要多看多記）

3. 一定注意上下句的聯(lián)系。

很多情況下。你要填的單詞在上文或者下文出現(xiàn)過(guò)了，所以說(shuō)試卷中不是沒(méi)有答案，而是你要有一雙發(fā)現(xiàn)答案的眼睛。還有一個(gè)情況是在一句話(huà)中，可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)反義詞，也就是說(shuō)你要填的單詞是上文或下文中一個(gè)詞的反義詞。

4. 利用詞性幫助判斷。

根據(jù)上下文及該句判斷詞性， 再結(jié)合首字母確定該詞的意思。（要有一定的句法知識(shí)）

5. 注意檢查。

這里有個(gè)方法可以一試， 默讀， 利用語(yǔ)感和自己的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)填空。如果讀著不順，就有可能有錯(cuò)誤。
