     accustomed to

       這兩個短語都可表示“習(xí)慣于”的意思。

used to 和 accustomed to 常可替換，但需注意used to后接 sth. 或 doing sth.  accustomed to后接sth. 、 doing sth. 或 to do sth.  

1) I think that you’ll soon get accustomed to / used to the climate here.

          （我想你會很快習(xí)慣這里的氣候。）

2) Many children have become accustomed to / used to the pattern of having their desires fulfilled whatever they wish

          （許多孩子已習(xí)慣于不管自己的有什么愿望都要得到滿足（為所欲為）的模式。）

3) Of course, I am not accustomed / used to associating with people in high social positions.

          （當(dāng)然,我不習(xí)慣與高社會地位的人們的交往。）

4) She belongs to that class of people who are accustomed to have their own way.

 （她屬于那種習(xí)慣于自行其事的人。）
